Scamozzi is a classical style based on the Ionic Order. In simple terms Scamozzi is an Ionic with 4 scrolls or volutes rather than 2 volutes. The style was created by architect Vincenzo Scamozzi in the 16th century and thus named accordingly. Columns with a Scamozzi capitals should have an Attic base. The capitals that are made from molds are hollow with lintel's load on the column's shaft through the shaft and directly to the substrate. Imperial offers both load bearing and decorative models
